Introducing the Forge High Flow intake hose for the revised MQB platform 2.0 engines from 2021 with DNF code. This new product replaces the restrictive plastic intake tube with our multi-layer, smooth-bore silicone hose that increases airflow and improves efficiency and performance. This equates to an increase of up to 10 horsepower, which is a notable gain for an easy-to-install bolt-on mod.

Designed by Forge, the Turbo Inlet Adapter improves your vehicle's airflow in several ways; Constructed similarly to a traditional Velocity Stack, it directs air more directly into your turbocharger and due to its larger capacity allows more air to be compressed, which can have a positive effect on your vehicle's acceleration after long decelerations or between gear changes due to more air being pumped held in the intake system.

The plastic OEM inlet hose has ribs and steps in the bore that create turbulence and disrupt airflow, the large Forge Motorsport silicone turbo inlet hose has increased flow over the standard item, and dyno testing certainly shows the tremendous benefits such a sophisticated hose product.

The Forge Motorsport intake pipe mates directly onto the factory airbox along with most aftermarket performance intakes. When testing the new Mk8 Golf R we found VW's horsepower claims to be conservative as our results showed 365hp in full stock clothing. The hours of development and testing are translated into results, shown in performance charts.

A simple switch to the FM-FMTIA5 has improved power and improved throttle response with gains of 12 hp and 15 lb/ft of torque at peak rpm along with around 8 lb/ft and 8 hp mid-range.

This is an easy install and modification that unleashes even more power from the VAG engine and typically takes around 40 minutes to fit. As with all Forge products, it comes with a full set of comprehensive installation instructions to make assembly as easy as possible. This product is available in limited edition Black, Blue, Red, Gray and Alien Green.
