Two CFD-optimized front intakes that extend across the front of the vehicle contribute to lower intake temperatures and rewarding performance gains.

Comparison R600 'EVO' vs R600

The new MQB 'EVO' cars (like Golf MK8, Audi S3 8Y etc.) need the revised version of the R600 intake.
Although the differences are minor, Racingline have improved the moldings for both the top and base to ensure you still get the perfect new car fit you've come to expect from the Racingline R600.

• The bottom of the pedestal has been changed to accommodate the new wiring layout in MQB Evo vehicles
• Each end of the top lid is now a different shape for a perfect MQB Evo fit

• Airbox is molded to factory specification in the UK from PU polyurethane.
• Our two giant filter units are hand built in the UK. Choose between Trifoam® foam and pleated cotton.
• PU offers excellent thermal insulation properties and keeps airbox temperatures lower.

More power is released with the Turbo Inlet System for 2.0 TSI Gen.4. A significantly increased airflow path from the intake directly into the turbo.

Only for Garrett Turbo (lower power) 245hp engines such as Golf 8 GTI, Audi A3, Leon Cupra and Octavia vRS.




ADVANTAGES OF THE TURBO INLET SYSTEM

VWR Racingline's new turbo intake system for the 245hp MQB "EVO" cars like Golf 8 GTI is a matched package of the much larger diameter free-flowing Turbo 90 intake paired with a reinforced silicone turbo intake hose for a much higher airflow between intake and turbo.

The factory intake forces the airflow to pass through the restrictive plastic "bellows" tube before tapering down to pass through a tight and restrictive plastic turbo intake - in other words, terrible for flow. The RacingLine Turbo intake system replaces these plumbing lines with a smooth-flowing, larger-diameter silicone hose connected to a thin-walled, free-flowing, larger-diameter intake manifold.


The inner diameter of the Turbo 90 Inlet is massively increased from 62.5mm on the factory part to 76mm.

The combination of the two parts of the kit allowed the diameter of the inlet and hose to be increased so much - thus achieving the maximum possible gains. Simply put, without this turbo intake system, you're wasting much of the potential of your high-flow intake system. So it's a major upgrade!

Create a smooth, turbulence-free air path out of your turbo with the conical Racingline Turbo Outlet for the VWG 2.0 TSI EA888.4.
For the Garrett Turbo (lower power) 245 hp engines such as Golf 8 GTI, Audi A3, Leon Cupra and Octavia vRS

 

What does the turbo outlet do?

The Racingline Tapered Turbo Muffler Delete for 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245hp is a sleek single billet design combined with a larger diameter silicone interconnect hose that replaces the restrictive, power-sapping compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence-free air path exiting the turbo .
• The original part is located at the turbo compressor outlet to reduce engine bay acoustics but adds annoying turbulence to the airflow exactly where you don't want it.
• The OEM part has an internal diameter of 38mm throughout, while the tapered RacingLine design increases up to 53mm and interfaces perfectly with the 53mm smooth silicone hose with internal graduations.
• By replacing the original part with the tapered Turbo Muffler Delete and silicone hose, the unwanted restriction is replaced with a smooth, CFD engineered, uninterrupted airpath.
• The result: a noticeably better boost response, which gives a little more power and throttle response, while at the same time you can hear the turbo working.

 

Complete kit:
This tapered turbo muffler comes with a silicone joiner pipe that increases in diameter from the OEM 38mm up to 53mm. Supplied with both tubes and matching clamps.

Smooth transitions:
By smoothing the airflow path out of the turbo to the larger 53mm diameter and using an internally stepped silicone tube, the restriction and turbulence introduced by the OEM part is massively reduced.

Perfect fit: Installation is uncomplicated. The kit installs in about 30 minutes using only standard hand tools. It's easy to reset to the default if you ever want to. An indispensable complement to the improved R600 intake System.

A nice and affordable upgrade for anyone looking to get the most out of their R600 cotton filter.

The new Racingline "Sock" is the best combination for your filter. The single-layer foam material protects the filter surface from dirt and dust deposits and thus prevents dirt from which cotton filters often suffer.

Simply slip the Racingline sock over the cotton filter and protect the cotton surface layer from dust and dirt.

If necessary, the Racingline sock can be cleaned or simply replaced inexpensively to keep the cotton filter in tip-top shape for years.

Cotton filters lose efficiency as dirt settles and airflow is reduced - the Racingline sock keeps the surface clean.
