These two intricately designed MQB Billet Underbody Tunnel Braces mount under the bodywork to counteract body flexing. This improves stiffness to refine handling while providing valuable additional clearance for larger diameter exhaust systems.

MQB vehicles rely on thin OE stamped steel tunnel braces underneath to reinforce the weaker points of the body and limit chassis deflection under demanding loads.
The new Racingline billet underbody braces replace those flimsy braces with intricately machined aluminum replacement parts that vastly improve stiffness, offer much better exhaust clearance and look great too!

• CNC-machined from a solid piece of 6061-T6 aluminum, each strut is designed to remove unnecessary material while increasing rigidity.
• With any 3 inch diameter exhaust system, the OE strut provides insufficient clearance. Instead of removing the tunnel strut, the new Racingline rear tunnel strut finally gives you the option to replace it, freeing up needed clearance while still providing crucial body rigidity.
• Despite added rigidity, this enhanced dynamic performance comes without sacrificing ride quality or introducing additional noise, vibration or harshness into the cabin.
• The strut design means installation is easy using existing body mounting points without the need for drilling or panel removal, ensuring the installation is fully reversible.
• Racingline offers two struts – a middle and a rear tunnel strut. FWD vehicle owners can install both, AWD vehicles can only install the rear tunnel brace.

For large diameter aftermarket exhaust systems, there simply isn't any clearance above the factory tunnel brace. Many owners have no choice but to remove the braces. But the bracket is there for a reason. With the extra clearance afforded by this rear tunnel brace, strength can now be maintained and a larger exhaust fitted.

MQB car with front wheel drive? Good news - both underbody tunnel braces can be attached to the car (or one of them).
MQB with all-wheel drive, no problem either, but then only the rear tunnel brace fits on the car.
