BMW M3 / M4 S55 locking the central bolt of the crankshaft

With the BMW N55/S55 engines, the central screw of the crankshaft can loosen over time. This causes the timing to change, which can result in major engine damage. The locking of the central screw we developed safely prevents exactly this twisting of the central screw of the crankshaft. We recommend installing the lock on original engines! At the latest with performance-enhanced BMW N55/S55 engines, however, it is absolutely indispensable!

Scope of delivery:

The set comes complete with the associated screws. The tightening torque of the screws is 20Nm, 90 degrees.

Crankshaft lock incl. 8 fastening screws (the screws shown may deviate from the ones supplied, as the picture only shows example screws)

BMW 135i / 335i / 435i - N55 F-Series

!!!Does not fit BMW M135i/M140i from 2013 with N55 engine!!!

Note: This component prevents the central screw from turning. This anti-twist device only works when the central screw is tight. This lock cannot prevent a loosened central screw from turning. Before installation, please check that the control times are correct and that the central screw is tight!
