BMW N54/N55 135i/335i/535i Ölthermostat zur Senkung der Öltemperatur, ab Baujahr 2008

Mit diesem Thermostat lässt sich die Öltemperatur im Bereich zwischen 95° und 110° C steuern und durchschnittlich um 10° C senken.

Gerade bei leistungsgesteigerten Fahrzeugen kann sich das Öl extrem stark erhitzen. Das Upgrade Thermostat dient der Vorbeugung einer solchen Überhitzung. Der Einbau ist unkompliziert und dauert in der Regel nicht länger als 10 Minuten. Eine Softwareanpassung, zusätzliche Umbauten oder Spezialwerkzeug sind hierbei nicht erforderlich. Eine detaillierte Einbauanleitung wird mitgeliefert.

Der Einbau kurz erklärt:

Beim Austausch des Thermostats werden drei Schrauben gelöst (siehe Bild), das Serienteil wird herausgenommen und das Upgrade Thermostat eingesetzt. Hierbei sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass das Thermostat wie in der Anleitung abgebildet, mit dem Stift nach Innen und der Feder nach Außen eingesetzt wird.
